Cooperation with the State Forests

15/09/2025

Based on the cooperation agreement signed with the General Directorate of State Forests, we are undertaking central initiatives aimed at protecting nature and increasing ecological awareness. We take care of forests, biodiversity, and natural resources.

The symbolic campaign “Forest Around Us” is another step toward building sustainability awareness.

– We are convinced that such joint initiatives not only integrate our team but also inspire employees to actively participate in activities for the protection of nature, said Magdalena Gajdur, Senior Sustainable Development Specialist at PHH.

The aim of the campaign was not only to plant trees but, above all, to educate PHH employees about forest management. Through direct participation in the work, participants had the opportunity to learn the secrets of forestry and to understand how important sustainable management of natural resources is. They also learned about the characteristics of various tree species, including the pedunculate oak, which is a symbol of longevity and strength.
Forest renewal is the process of introducing a new generation of trees to replace those that have been removed due to human activity or natural causes. This ensures the continuity of forest existence.

– State Forests have been managing forest areas in Poland for 100 years. We care for forests by managing them responsibly. Renewing forests so that they serve future generations perfectly fits into the idea of sustainable development. We welcome every initiative that raises social awareness of the role of forests, especially in the era of climate change, emphasized Artur Zakolski, Forest District Manager of the Jabłonna Forest District.
