Holiday Inn Express Lublin*** – a new chapter for the former Huzar Hotel
The three-star Holiday Inn Express Lublin, part of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) network and belonging to the Polish Hotel Holding Capital Group, after a complete reconstruction and modernization, has been welcoming its first Guests since October 31. The interior design project was created with an emphasis on functionality, comfort, and a relaxing atmosphere, ensuring a pleasant stay for both business and leisure travelers.
The property consists of two connected buildings: a high, 6-story one housing the hotel rooms, and a lower, 2-story section with the restaurant and conference area, allowing for business meetings and conferences of up to 100 participants. This layout separates the relaxation space of the guest rooms from the hotel’s public areas.
The entire facility has gained a new façade, with the front elevation featuring a unique arrangement of panels inspired by musical notation, referencing the work of composer Henryk Wieniawski, who was born in Lublin. Musical themes are also present in the names of the conference rooms (Symphony, Polonaise, A Major, C Major, and D Major) as well as in the graphics decorating the restaurant and foyer.
The spacious restaurant invites guests to enjoy Polish, international, and Asian cuisine, prepared with top-quality ingredients. The carefully designed menu combines tradition with modern accents, satisfying both lovers of classic dishes and seekers of culinary inspirations from afar. The restaurant is open not only to hotel guests but also to external visitors.
– We worked on every detail, aiming to create spacious, modern rooms that will provide our Guests with peace and relaxation during their stay. We are offering 150 modern rooms, three fully multimedia conference rooms, an elegant restaurant, and convenient parking. We trust our Guests will appreciate the high standard and convenient location, making the hotel a unique place for both business and leisure travelers, emphasizes Aneta Wodyk, President of PHH Hotele.
The hotel’s interior design follows precise brand guidelines. The concept is based on a consistent color palette, materials, and furnishings, reflecting the brand’s global strategy to standardize the appearance of rooms and public spaces across all locations. This way, Guests can easily recognize familiar brand features, regardless of where they are, and effortlessly identify with the brand.
In the rooms, a light palette dominates – white and gray create a sense of spaciousness and calm, while deep navy blue on selected walls adds elegance. Color accents, such as the red armchair and accessories, serve as distinctive brand elements, introducing vibrancy and contrast. The finishes are subdued and smooth, while the individually designed carpet pattern, created specifically for this hotel, adds a unique touch.
– We are delighted to present the hotel in its new version and to offer our Guests freshly renovated, comfortable rooms and spacious interiors, making our property a very attractive destination on Lublin’s tourist map. It is not only an ideal city-break hotel, but also a place to host a conference, a small business meeting, or a private celebration, says Edyta Mętel-Tyc, General Manager of Holiday Inn Express Lublin.
Holiday Inn Express Lublin (formerly Huzar Hotel) is located in the Wieniawa district, 1 km from Saski Park and 10 minutes by public transport from Lublin’s city center. Despite its central location, the district is peaceful, characterized by low-rise buildings and lush greenery. HIEX Lublin is the second hotel of this brand in the PHH Capital Group portfolio.
