19/09/2025

Polski Holding Hotelowy (PHH) will carry out hotel investments in Lower Silesia over the coming years with a total value of nearly PLN 314 million, consistently strengthening the region’s tourism and economic potential. Key projects include the comprehensive modernization and expansion of the Bornit Hotel in Szklarska Poręba and the Malachit Hotel in Świeradów-Zdrój, as well as the recently completed renovation of Wrocław’s Four Points by Sheraton.

- Lower Silesia is a region of enormous importance to the State Treasury — both economically and in terms of tourism. That is why we are implementing hotel investments here on an unprecedented scale. We are strengthening tourism potential, creating new jobs, and building facilities that will serve residents and guests from Poland and abroad for decades to come. The investments of Polski Holding Hotelowy are proof that Lower Silesia is and will remain one of the key areas of development, said Robert Kropiwnicki, Secretary of State at the Ministry of State Assets.

In Szklarska Poręba, PHH will begin the reconstruction of the four-star Bornit Hotel next year. After modernization, the property will welcome guests in 200 rooms. The hotel is scheduled to open at the end of 2028, with an investment cost of PLN 121 million.

The Malachit Hotel in Świeradów-Zdrój will also undergo expansion. Aimed at guests seeking year-round premium-standard leisure, it will offer an expanded SPA zone, aquapark, and MICE infrastructure. Following the renovation, scheduled for completion in Q4 2029, the property will provide 200 rooms. The investment budget for this project is PLN 97 million. Both projects are part of PHH’s business line Kurort (Resort), focusing on leisure and relaxation offerings.

Complementing PHH’s activities in Lower Silesia is the four-star Wrocław Four Points by Sheraton, opened this spring, offering 157 comfortable rooms for business and leisure travelers visiting the capital of Lower Silesia. Its renovation lasted 2.5 years. The property belongs to the Miasto (City) line — business hotels for guests seeking comfort during business trips or city sightseeing. The value of this investment amounted to PLN 95.9 million net.

- The total value of PHH’s hotel investments in Lower Silesia by 2034 amounts to as much as PLN 313.9 million. This amount is included in our new strategy. It is a clear signal that we are consistently building the future of the hotel industry in this region. We are focusing on a complementary offer that includes both modern business hotels and leisure resorts with SPA facilities, catering to both domestic and foreign tourists, said Rafał Kincer, President of Polski Holding Hotelowy.
