Polski Holding Nieruchomości (PHN) and Polski Holding Hotelowy (PHH) have signed a letter of intent paving the way for the modernization of the Regent Hotel, located at Belwederska 23 in Warsaw. The planned investment, scheduled for 2026–2027, will cover a comprehensive scope of design, construction, installation, and interior works. Following the renovation, the hotel will operate under the JW Marriott brand, renowned for elegance, attention to detail, and exceptional service quality.
Situated in a prestigious part of Warsaw, adjacent to the Royal Łazienki Park, the hotel is owned by PHN (75% stake) and PHH (25% stake). Currently, the property offers more than 200 rooms along with conference and dining facilities. Thanks to the modernization, the hotel will gain a contemporary character and upgraded functionality, meeting the expectations of both business and leisure guests while aligning with the highest standards of a luxury brand.
- Our collaboration on the Regent Hotel modernization is a unique opportunity to combine the experience and know-how of both companies, continuing the legacy of this property, which will become an even stronger showcase of luxury and modernity. This investment will enhance guest comfort and introduce innovative solutions that address the dynamic needs of the hospitality market, said Wiesław Malicki, President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Nieruchomości S.A.
The modernization will include new interior designs, upgrades to technical installations, and replacement of equipment, ensuring the hotel maintains its five-star rating and adapts to the highest international requirements. Both companies have now begun preparations to develop a detailed investment plan and project schedule.
- This renovation is not just about refreshing the space—it is a bold step forward toward creating a place that will become an unrivaled benchmark of modern luxury and an inspiration for the hospitality industry. The transformation will offer guests unique experiences, refined aesthetics, and an even higher level of comfort, while responding to the growing demands of the market and the aspirations of the most discerning travelers. This project strengthens the hotel’s position as an icon of local hospitality, blending tradition with innovation and proving that Regent is not just a prestigious address, but above all a truly special destination, said Rafał Kincer, President of the Management Board of Polski Holding Hotelowy.
The decision to partner with JW Marriott reflects the ambition to create hotel spaces that combine the highest standards with timeless elegance. Designed for the most demanding travelers, JW Marriott embodies not only luxury but also a sense of balance, authenticity, and harmony. Inspired by the values of founder John Willard Marriott, the brand today operates in key destinations worldwide. The modernization of the Regent Hotel is a showcase of synergy between two Polish companies and the global expertise of an international brand—benefiting guests, the city, and the entire market.
