The PHH Group has published its first report prepared in accordance with the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard (VSME), covering the entire portfolio of the Group. The document summarizes key ESG activities and reflects the company’s voluntary approach to reporting and transparency, going beyond regulatory requirements and distinguishing it within the hospitality market.
The PHH Group is not currently subject to the reporting obligations arising from the CSRD. The report was prepared in accordance with the voluntary VSME standard (Basic Module, individual reporting basis). This initiative goes beyond regulatory requirements and is aligned with market best practices, underlining its pioneering nature.
“We are raising standards not because we have to, but because it matters to us. The 2025 report shows how we manage the impact of our operations on the environment, society and the organization, while supporting decisions based on concrete data. Preparing it voluntarily sets us apart in the market and marks the first step in our long-term Sustainability Strategy, aimed at effectively managing our impact, increasing transparency towards our guests and customers, and further developing measurement tools,” says Patrycja Adamska, Director of the ESG Office at the PHH Group.
The report includes full Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon footprint calculations. The PHH Group’s total carbon footprint in 2025 amounted to 41,894.90 tCO₂e. The majority of emissions – 58% – were indirect Scope 2 emissions, while more than 37% of the total carbon footprint came from purchased electricity consumption.
The document also presents employment data. Women account for 71% of employees across the PHH Group. Moreover, in 2025, 71% of employees were employed under permanent contracts, representing an increase of nearly 5 percentage points compared with the previous year. In the area of employee development, 358 training initiatives were carried out, involving 1,397 participants. Postgraduate studies for PHH employees were also launched in cooperation with Kozminski University.
The PHH Group also continued its environmental protection initiatives. In 2025, eight additional PHH Sp. z o.o. properties received Green Key certification. As a result, by the end of the year, eleven of the company’s twelve properties held this distinction, confirming their commitment to sustainable development and responsible environmental management. At the same time, the certification process is gradually being extended to further properties within the Group.
The report also highlights the active involvement of Group employees in local social and environmental initiatives, with 194 initiatives carried out in this area. In 2025, organization-wide cooperation was launched with national parks and the State Forests, supporting nature conservation and environmental education activities.
The Sustainability Report forms an integral part of the Management Board’s report on the activities of PHH. It presents not only the PHH Group’s achievements in the ESG area, but also identifies the key challenges facing the organization, setting directions for further development and continued improvement in sustainability and responsible management.
