The PHH Capital Group obtains its first Green Key certificates
In response to growing environmental awareness and global challenges related to climate change, the PHH Capital Group is proud to announce that the first properties in our group have received the prestigious Green Key certificate. The award was granted to the following hotels: Moxy Katowice Airport, Moxy Poznań Airport, Courtyard by Marriott Warsaw Airport, and Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel.
This marks the beginning of the certification process for the Group’s properties, representing an important step in strengthening our commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection.
Green Key Certificate – a symbol of sustainability in tourism.
Green Key is an international award given to tourism establishments that meet the highest standards of environmental management. The program, launched in 1994, promotes a responsible approach to tourism, including energy management, water conservation, waste minimization, and ecological education for both guests and employees.
– Obtaining the Green Key certificate is an important step for us towards sustainable development. We are starting a process aimed not only at meeting specific ecological standards but also at continuously improving our activities. We believe that our commitment will contribute to popularizing eco-friendly practices in the hotel industry, says Marta Marczyńska, Sustainability Specialist at the PHH Capital Group.
Sustainable tourism – our responsibility.
Sustainable tourism is a key element in reducing the negative impact of tourism activities on the environment. It also translates into supporting local communities and economies. The launch of the certification process for PHH Capital Group properties is another stage in building a responsible business and pursuing our environmental protection goals. We are pleased that our initiative will help promote the idea of sustainable tourism in Poland.
