CPK and PHH Sign Cooperation Agreement: Companies to Invest in Airport City Hotel Base

15/09/2025

The Central Communication Port (CPK) and Polish Hotel Holding (PHH) have signed a cooperation agreement. The goal is to prepare a joint venture investment for the construction of the Airport City CPK hotel base. The first facilities are planned to be ready by the opening of CPK Airport in 2032.

The CPK–PHH agreement is an example of the synergy between state-owned companies in a strategic infrastructure project, namely the construction of the new airport. The expanded Airport City hotel base will increase the attractiveness of the CPK airport and its surroundings as a desirable investment location.

Thanks to this agreement, we are opening the planning stage for the hotel base, which will support the competitiveness of the airport. This is an important beginning of a joint path for CPK and PHH, which will define the framework of investment cooperation in hotel projects within Airport City CPK, said Dr. Filip Czernicki, President of CPK.

We are starting one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in Poland. Our role will be to create hotel facilities that will not only meet the needs of travelers from around the world but will also highlight the potential of the Polish economy and domestic hotel industry. This is an investment that will matter not only for the development of PHH but also for Poland’s image as a modern and hospitable country, said Rafał Kincer, President of PHH.

The agreement provides for the establishment of a joint venture company responsible for building and managing the hotel complex within Airport City. In the first stage, investment expenditures for its development are estimated at approximately PLN 650 million, including equity capital and debt financing.

In the immediate vicinity of the airport, modern facilities will be built in various segments—from economy to premium—ensuring a diverse offer for tourists and passengers, business guests, and airline staff. The Airport City hotel complex will also allow for the organization of conferences, industry events, and business meetings.

According to the schedules, the first construction works at the terminal will begin in 2026. In 2029, construction of the tunnel and underground railway station will be completed. The CPK Airport will be launched by the end of 2032, together with the first section of the Warsaw–Łódź High-Speed Railway line.
