Agnieszka Powązka-Celer appointed General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton Poznań

On 1 June 2026, Agnieszka Powązka-Celer took up the position of General Manager of Four Points by Sheraton Poznań. The new General Manager is responsible for the overall management of the property and preparations for its official opening, scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.

Agnieszka Powązka-Celer is a highly experienced manager with more than 20 years of professional experience, including over 12 years in managerial and director-level positions. She has developed her career both in Poland and the United Kingdom. She gained experience within the international Accor hotel group, including at Novotel, Mercure and ibis properties, as well as at the five-star Marine Hotel Resort & Spa. She specializes in operational management, building effective teams and implementing business strategies in the hospitality sector.

Since 2019, she had served as General Manager of Novotel Poznań Malta, where she was responsible for the operational and financial management of the property, development of its offering and implementation of quality standards. During her career, she has successfully participated, among other projects, in the rebranding of the Novotel & ibis Wrocław Centrum hotel complex, the creation of organizational structures and the implementation of operational systems.

She is a graduate of economics, specializing in tourism and hospitality, and sociology at the University of Szczecin. She also completed postgraduate studies in International Hotel Management at the University of Łódź.

Four Points by Sheraton Poznań is being developed through the comprehensive modernization of the former Ikar Hotel. The property will offer 156 modern rooms, conference facilities for up to 140 people, a restaurant with a strong local character and convenient parking. The investment is being carried out under strict market-based principles and will introduce Marriott International’s global standards to the Poznań hotel market. The hotel is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of this year.
